My own private yogi

Being that I'm in India, I figure I should really embrace yoga. I do enjoy the Bikram yoga I've done in Norwalk. When I went to the Health Club at the hotel, there was a note advertising "yoga." I asked the kind gentlemen at the desk and he said it's every morning from 7-8 near one of the restaurants. So, yesterday we woke up early again and by 7, had had breakfast and promptly arrived for my first authentic Indian yoga class. I was a little surprised that I was the only one there but I let the hotel staff person know that I was there for the yoga. He said, "Oh, ok. One moment. And then...just like Dorothy arriving at the steps of the Emerald City (in your Indian accent now...)"No yoga today. Come back tomorrow."
"But sir, I've come all the way from America..."

I'm not sure what the issue was but I went again this morning and had my own private lesson. It was dope. I kept getting my right and left mixed up and am not the most flexible so who knows what he was really thinking - flighty, blond, tense, American - but he was patient and pleasant. I'm supposed to go back tomorrow where we'll focus on deep breathing.
